UPPCO Receives FERC Approval to Transfer Ownership of AuTrain Dam to North American Hydro Unit

The two companies expect to close the deal before July 16, 2010.

Houghton, MI – Upper Peninsula Power Company (UPPCO), a subsidiary of Integrys Energy Group (NYSE: TEG), has received approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to transfer the license and ownership of the AuTrain dam and power plant to U.P. Hydro LLC., a wholly-owned subsidiary of North American Hydro. North American is the largest independent hydro power producer in the Midwest.

The companies expect to complete post-approval activities and close the sale by July 16, 2010.
